Help Loreal win a luxury weekend
Quiet beach on a Wednesday afternoon. I decided to go for a walk along the Strand coastline... not many people around and the peaceful atmosphere deserved a snapshot.

Hidden butterfly at the Butterfly Sanctuary. I almost missed this one! Luckily I noticed its fluttering wings and managed to take a quick pic before it flitted off again to another flower.

View over Gordon's Bay, driving on the mountain road. It looked so beautiful, I had to pull over and take a photo.

Help Simon win a luxury weekend
Lightning on a Lions back. Cape Town does not get a lot of thunderstorms so when we do, photographers rush for their cameras. This was my first ever lightning photoshoot and remains my favourite.

Lions Head - Afire. Lions Head is always framed by the most spectacular sunsets. This is one of the most magical of them all. No processing done to this picture, just a slightly reduced aperture size. It really was this incredible.

Blouberg Sunset. Some crazy friends decided they wanted to go for a sunset swim. Not being that brave I chose to rather take photos. This was the stunning sunset Cape Town treated us to.

Help Zandile win a luxury weekend
I used to study in Cape Town before I moved away to work in Joburg. The first time I went back to Cape Town I was so excited, I had missed everything - the sea, the ambiance and the amazing view no matter where you are. This is one of the first pics I took.

This photo was taken on the morning of my 26th Birthday. The location is the Jammie Steps on UCT Campus. There is something about the location of this photo that I have always enjoyed, perhaps its the warm sun coming over the mountains in the background, the dew on the fields below or just the pure fact it is so still and quiet there where in the week it can be filled with chaotic students.

Help Kimberley win a luxury weekend
The Robben Island photograph was taken in June this year: I love this iconic image of Cape Town and found the view from the island breathe-taking. This photograph takes me back to the place it was taken; reminding me of how far South Africa has come and an inspiring day spent on Robben Island.

The Kalk Bay photograph was taken in February this year: Kalk Bay is one of my favourite places to soak up the sun and catch up with friends. I love it's vibrancy and relaxed atmosphere; this photograph reminds me of summer, the diverse beauty of the Cape and care-free days spent in the sun.
